Why is cheerleading an expensive sport?
Cheerleading is an expensive sport as it tailoured costumes is very expensive, it cost around $100 to $400 each. Price depends on material and amount spend on embroidery. Some teams even hire tailors from Thailand.It takes up $10,000 to $20,000 to set up a cheer squad. Cheerleading also need to go for gymnastics classes and workshopes. Tights cause from around $2-$25. A training mat cause $50 and the number use in a competion is 144. A shoe which is imported from united states and taiwan cost $90-$150 a pair. Nutrion supply cost $50-$100 per bottle. Hair products and medical insurance are also expensive.

What made cheerleading such a tough sport?
It is such a tough sport as it is hard to perfect each high flip lift and tumbling stunt and it was part of their routine. It also require a lot of team work. There is also a high risk of injury. It also require resilince, perserverance, and passion. Cheerleading is a sport that need hefty financial conmitment and it also need a lot of time and effort to do cheerleading. Cheerleading migt cause a lot of injuries.

What is your opinion of cheerleaders? If given a chance would you join cheerleading? why/why not?
My opinion of cheerleaders is before I read this article I think that cheerleading is a boring sport and is very easy. After reading this article, i think that cheerleading is a difficult and dangerous sport. I would not want to join cheerleading as it needs finiancial commitment and a lot of time, i also find it very troublesome.
